Privacy and the support check-ins

A clear explanation of what happens with your information.

This page explains the information used when you choose to complete a support check-in or self-check, or request a support guide at Gwen Highlands Therapy.

    What the check-ins ask

Both experiences ask about broad reflection themes such as what feels difficult, which areas of life you would like to feel easier, what kind of support sounds useful and what next step feels possible. You can skip questions. Neither experience is a medical questionnaire, clinical assessment, diagnosis or treatment recommender.

    Your name and email

If you ask for a personalised guide, we collect the first name you choose to provide and your email address. We use these details to send the guide you requested. The guide email is a transactional message connected to your request.

    Calm Mind Reset 2-Minute Pause

The 2-Minute Pause asks for your email address and a required, unchecked choice to receive three Calm Mind Reset follow-up emails, one today, one after two days and one after five days. We use your email to open the pause and send those messages. You can unsubscribe from the follow-up emails at any time.

The pause does not ask for or store your answers, reflections or health information. It records only your contact details and non-sensitive event details needed to manage the request and start the relevant email sequence. You can return to the Calm Mind Reset 2-Minute Pause whenever you would like to use it again.

    Menopause Support Guide request

The guide request form collects your required email address and, if you choose, your first name. We use these details to provide the PDF download and send a confirmation link. The form has a separate, unchecked optional choice for occasional helpful updates. If you select it, your contact record receives the menopause-updates tag and you can unsubscribe at any time.

The request also records a non-sensitive event showing that the guide was requested, whether the request was completed and whether updates were chosen. The form does not ask for, store or send symptom answers or reflection text.

You can return to the Menopause Support Guide page to request the download again.

    Guided Visualisation Guide request

The guided visualisation guide form collects a required email address and, if you choose, your first name. We use these details to provide the original five-page PDF and send an immediate confirmation email containing the same download link. The form has a separate, unchecked optional choice for occasional helpful emails about guided resources and emotional wellbeing.

When you actively select that optional choice, your contact is treated as a subscriber and a separate non-sensitive guided_visualisation_guide_opted_in event is recorded for future helpful emails. When you leave it unchecked, the request is treated as a lead and no marketing consent is claimed. Every successful request also records a non-sensitive guided_visualisation_guide_requested event.

This form does not ask for or collect symptom details, health information, quiz answers or free-text reflections. None of those details are stored or sent through the guide request. You can return to the Guided Visualisation Guide page to request the resource again.

    Perfectionism Self-Check request

The free Perfectionism Self-Check collects your required email address and, if you choose, your first name so we can reveal your personalised result, provide the browser-generated PDF and send a confirmation email. The form has a separate, unchecked optional choice for occasional helpful updates about perfectionism, confidence and emotional wellbeing.

The self-check records only a safe summary pattern identifier for delivery and funnel reporting, along with the fact that the request was completed. It does not store or send your five raw ratings, health information or any free-text reflection to Contacts or events. Leaving the optional marketing choice unchecked still lets you receive the requested result and PDF. Choosing it treats your contact as a subscriber, and you can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

You can return to the Perfectionism Self-Check page to complete the prompts again. The self-check is for education and reflection, not a diagnosis, clinical assessment or treatment recommendation.

    Career Change Reset Assessment

The Career Change Reset Assessment asks for your first name and email before showing the detailed on-page result. We use these details to manage the assessment request and to show the result in a way that addresses you. The form includes a separate, unchecked optional choice for occasional emails about confidence, career change and personal development.

Your score and result band may be used for relevant follow-up. The individual 1–5 ratings are not stored in your contact record or completion event, and the assessment does not collect occupation, health information or free-text reflections. The result is a reflective, non-diagnostic guide rather than a psychological test, diagnosis or treatment recommendation.

You can return to the Career Change Reset Assessment whenever you would like to reflect again.

    Career Change Reset Application

The private application asks for your first name, email address and career reflections so Gwen can review your situation personally and decide whether a Career Change Reset Conversation may be a useful next step. The submitted reflections are stored in a dedicated protected application record for private administrator review. They are not added to your contact notes or event details.

The application has a separate, unchecked optional choice for occasional emails about confidence, career change and personal development. Leaving it unchecked keeps your contact as a lead. Choosing it adds the relevant update tag and treats your contact as a subscriber. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Sending an application does not automatically book a call, confirm a programme place or guarantee an outcome. Gwen personally reviews applications and may invite you to arrange a private conversation. You can read the Career Change Reset application before submitting.

    Optional helpful updates

Each check-in has a separate, unchecked option for occasional information from Gwen Highlands Therapy. You do not need to choose it to receive your guide. If you opt in, you can unsubscribe from those messages at any time.

    Menopause Support Check-In

The menopause check-in uses your choices to create a broad reflection guide on the page and in the email you request. Its contact record contains the name, email, check-in tag, source and optional updates choice. Its completion event records only that the check-in was completed and whether updates were chosen. Menopause answer themes and the optional free-text reflection are not stored with contacts or completion events.

    Anxiety Support Check-In

The anxiety check-in may save an anonymised, non-diagnostic pattern summary to help us understand which broad themes, life areas and support needs visitors select. These summaries do not include your name, email address or raw reflection. The anxiety completion event records completion and consent only.

    What the check-ins cannot do

The check-ins provide general information and reflection. They cannot determine what is causing a change, assess your health, recommend medication or treatment, or provide crisis counselling. Please speak with your GP, practice nurse or another appropriate healthcare professional about symptoms or changes that are new, severe, persistent or concerning. If you are in immediate danger, contact emergency or crisis support where you are.

    Questions or contact

If you have questions about either check-in or would like to contact Gwen, please use the contact page.
